File this one under “Get Your Life News”! The ratchetivity factor just went up exponentially in Cleveland, Ohio and they have got to do better! Without even knowing the actual factuals of this story, the title alone is distressing! Who gets into a fight at the local Kindergarten Graduation? Who has such little regard for those babies, that they go into a celebration that is being put together in essence, to give 4, 5 and 6-year-old’s, a sense of purpose, pride and dignity for what they have accomplished… and ruins it in a fit of violence?
And to make it worse, the other children, and faculty thought they were in the middle of a school shooting frenzy! So they were huddled under their desks and hiding in closets according to the report from Cleveland’s 19 Action News!
Said one student,
“I called my mom on my cell phone she said she would come get me but police were not letting anyone in the building they had to call the students one by one to come down.”
In the end, nobody was injured. Well, physically injured anyway, and eight people were taken into custody likely to face aggravated rioting charges.
It was nice to hear that no Michael R. White students were involved in the fight, but if this is the example that they have set for them, how long will we be able to report that detail in the future? Get it together people!
