Years after they shut down a popular Latino Cruising spot in Oak Cliff, right off Hampton and Claredon, it looks like the African American cruising spots and parks are now on their radar.
This past Sunday they responded to a demand from area home owners and Business Owners around the Fair Park area of Malcolm X Blvd and MLK Blvd.
Although there have no been any MAJOR problems with the Sunday event that draws around 2,000 African Americans, mostly those who listen to Hip Hop and have nice “whips”, (cars) that they want to show off, DPD is saying this a preventative intiative.
