Baltimore will soon bill water customers monthly, instead of 3 months, under legislation approved in early August by the City Council.
The city will start sending monthly bills to customers in October, a change officials say will help residents and businesses budget.
Councilman Robert Curran said the change will help customers keep a better track on their bills.
The City of Baltimore serves about 400,000 water customers, half are in Baltimore County.
