This is a very sad day in hip-hop. Malik Taylor, better known as Phife Dawg, has passed away at the age of 45. He’s had health issues for many years and had a kidney transplant in 2008 due to complications from type 1 diabetes. The member of one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time, A Tribe Called Quest, will truly be missed. The cause of death has not yet been announced. His Hip-Hop friends took to Twitter to share their love for the late Queens-born artist. Check out a few tweets below.
