Rich Homie Quan Says Rich Gang Is Back & “Tha Tour: Pt. 2” On The Way

A few days ago, we were worried that we would never see another Metro Thuggin collaboration. Luckily, Young Thug and Metro Boomin quickly made peace and dropped a banger on us. Today, we’ve received news of another reconciliation — and one we didn’t expect to see any time soon: Rich Gang is getting back together.A day after releasing a surprise mixtape, Album Before the Album, Rich Homie Quan has posted a picture of himself lying down on the Cash Money logo in order to announce that “Rich Gang Pt. II,” presumably referring to the sequel to Tha Tour: Pt. 1, his September 2014 joint tape with Young Thug (and London on da Track), is on the way. Birdman was the host of the first Rich Gang tape, and Quan tagged the Cash Money boss in his Instagram post, writing, “let’s turn up.” Judging by the picture, they’re probably already back in the studio together.https://instagram.com/p/-GLScgPoTH/https://instagram.com/p/-F-Tc0voSd/Quan also shared a video preview of a song that will presumably land on the tape, as one can hear Quan repeatedly rapping “Part 2.” Thugger still hasn’t said anything that would imply he’s back on board, but there couldn’t be a Part 2 without him (right?).Will Quan and Thug be able to rekindle the chemistry they had on Tha Tour: Pt. 1?
