One of three tickets containing the winning Powerball numbers was purchased in the North Texas area last night. The other two are in North Carolina and Puerto Rico.
Officials did not yet know the exact cities the winning tickets for the $564.1 million jackpot had been sold. It’s the third-largest Powerball prize ever and the fifth-largest lottery prize in U.S. history.
