Lil Jon Remixes “Turn Down For What” For Midterm Election Voting PSA

Midterm elections are almost here and Lil Jon wants youth to get crunk to get to the polls. The rapper remixed his popular club track “Turn Down For What” for a Rock The Vote PSA urging youth to vote.  The “Turn Out For What” video asked celebs like Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star “E.J. Johnson,”  “Girls” creator/actress Lena Dunham and “Orange Is The New Black” actress Natasha Lyonne why they’ll turn out to vote November 4th.

Rock The Vote said in a press release that they’re trying to grab the attention of younger voters with the PSA.   “Both the song and the music video aim to capture the attention of, and galvanize, a Millennial audience. Posing the important question—what are you turning out for?—and reminding young voters that if they have a cause they feel strongly about, they have to turn out to the polls on Election Day.”

Watch the video, that also features a cameo from Whoopi Goldberg at the end  giving the camera a knowing look after Lil Jon lights a super blunt (we’re guessing she’s turning out for marijuana legalization laws?):
