A man who tried to be a hero was shot dead in his own Dallas home minutes after rushing outside to stop a man beating a woman, it’s claimed. Rubin Brown, 27, was reportedly gunned down in his living room at 1:40 a.m. Thursday morning not long after trying to break up the brawling duo. His fiancee Quenetha Bell alleges that Brown ran out to help after hearing a commotion outside their house, near Pine and Crozier streets. Seeing a man choking a woman, the U.S. Postal Service worker tried to intervene. But she claims the pair then turned on Brown, threatened him and left together. The dad-of-one returned inside. But minutes later his home was peppered with gunfire.“Rubin was playing a game in the living room. He was trying to duck down when he heard the shots and they shot him in his heart, his lungs and his kidney,” Bell told My Fox DFW. Brown was rushed to Baylor Medical Center but died a short time later. Police are investigating and still hunting for suspects –
