So much to unpack from the 2023 Bet Awards ceremony last night! Between Beyoncé breaking records for most wins by an artist EVER to Busta Rhymes winning the Lifetime Achievement Award , the network truly did it for the culture! The program, which lasted almost 4 hours, brought out some of the BIGGEST names in entertainment and lots of special surprises. One of the surprises being a performance by Chief Keef, who was banned in 2014 after he wasn’t allowed to perform at the award show in 2013. According to XXL he said “Man, f*ck BET! We out here, man. If we go to the BET Awards, chains getting took. B***hes getting f**ked. They mommas getting f**ked. Steal, pregnant, everything.”

That actually sounds like a valid reason to ban anyone. Nevertheless, we love to see him back and wanted to put a magnifying glass on what else you might have missed at the 2023 BET Awards!
