The game 2 win for the Mavericks was nothing short of amazing and stressful! The game ended with your Mavericks 96 and the LA Clippers 93.

This was a much different energy from game one, Dallas had a great night landing 42% of their 3 pointers. Mavericks made the much needed adjustments in the 1st half that they did not execute on Sunday. Although it was a close game, Dallas maintained the lead for much of the game until the 3rd quarter.

4th quarter was a tough one, Dallas lost the lead for a minute but the Clippers struggled to keep it. Luka Dončić, Kyrie Irving, PJ Washington, and Max Kleber all with  very clutch 3 pointers in the 4th quarter  kept us ahead of the Clippers and ultimately led us to the W.

Gotta shoutout P.J. Washington for assisting Kyrie and Luka and scored 18 points for the Mavs.

The roles seemed to reverse for this game, while the Clippers put up a really hard defense, they did not do well scoring. James Harden only landed 2 of 10 of his 3 point attempts, and the team overall landed 26% , this was a great advantage for the Mavs.

Kawhi Leonard was back for game 2 after being out for eight games, but didn’t seem to be much help to his teammates. “Kawhi’s gonna find his rhythm,” says teammate Paul George. “And we’re gonna find our rhythm around him. We Lost, but it is great having number 2 back with us.”

Tim Hardaway left the game due to a right ankle sprain, we are wishing him a speedy recovery!

Game 3 will be at home at the American Airline Center Friday April 26th at 7pm. Let’s go Mavs!
