GYMNASTICS-OLY-2016-RIO-PODIUM

It’s official — Simone Biles is the flyest chick in this gymnastics game. The 19-year-old American phenom has long been considered the best gymnast alive, and now she has the medals to prove it.

On Thursday, she took home the gold medal for the women’s individual all-around gold medal at the Olympic games in Rio. Her teammate Aly Raisman, 22, took home the silver medal and Aliya Mustafina of Russia, 21, took home the bronze medal.

Final scores were: 62.198 for Biles; 60.098 for Raisman; and 58.665 for Mustafina, according to NPR.

The win caps off a week of absolutely phenomenal performances from USA’s unstoppable gymnastics team, who took the first place spot with a lead of several points. The women’s team have nicknamed themselves “The Final Five” — comprised of Biles, Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez. Both together and individually, they are nothing short of incredible.

When her scores were announced, Biles broke down in tears, overcome with emotion and no doubt pride in herself for her incredible accomplishment.

We absolutely love this team and are so proud of them. Go Team USA.
