If you watched the Grammy awards last week, you saw Ice Cube present Kendrick Lamar with the Grammy for Rap Album of the Year, and now it’s Kendrick’s turn to give Cube an award.

Kendrick has been chosen to induct the members of N.W.A. into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame during a special event taped on April 8 at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn and airing April 30 on HBO. K Dot’s the perfect emcee to induct the legendary West Coast crew, seeing how he’s paid tribute to the group countless times in past interviews for television and magazines, including a special Billboard edition where he interviewed the surviving members of the crew for Straight Outta Compton.

N.W.A. will be joining Chicago, Cheap Trick, Deep Purple and more as this year’s Hall of Fame inductees and Kendrick will be presenting along with several famous celebrities including Kid Rock and Rob Thomas.
