Ne-Yo’s Fiancé Crystal Renay Sets The Record Straight

Since the beginning of her relationship with Ne-Yo, Crystal Renay has been under a social media microscope. From her proposal video to the news of a sextape, Crystal has had a trying time in the spotlight.
In an exclusive interview with TheJasmineBrand, Crystal discusses the negativity surrounding their relationship.
“[The toughest part of our relationship] are the misconceptions and the [outside] negativity that surrounds it. Inside of our relationship, we are amazing. We’re happy! We communicate very well [and have done so] from the very beginning.”
She even asked Ne-Yo to inform his ex Monyetta Shaw of their engagement before it hit the media.
“At my request…at my requirement, he told her way before that. I like her as a person. I would never allow her to be blindsided by something from the media instead of hearing it from us first. NEVER.”
