Tragic: Harlem School Principal Commits Suicide Once Incriminated In Test-Score Scandal

It’s a grim day at Teachers College Community School in West Harlem today. It’s been disclosed to the parents that the school’s principal, Jeanene Worrell-Breeden, jumped to her death on subway tracks after someone disclosed to the NYC Department of Education that she had been changing Common Core test scores of her students. Worrell-Breeden committed suicide back in April, only 24 hours after the tip was made. She was transported to a local hospital after making the jump and succumbed eight days later to her injuries.
