According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, recently signed Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy has been suspended for the first 10 games of the 2015 regular season for conduct detrimental to the league in violation of the NFL Constitution and By-Laws, the NFL Player Contract, and the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. The former Pro Bowler was expected to be a big contributor for the Dallas Cowboys this season.

Hardy was found guilty for Assault on a Female and Communicating Threats following an altercation with a female at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina. On July 15, he was found guilty of these charges during a bench trial which he later appealed. Mecklenburg County moved to dismiss the charges after an appeal.

 

Hardy’s suspension will be active September 5 however, He can participate in pre-season activities. He has 3 days to appeal. The Cowboys have yet to comment but once they do we will have it for you.
