News 8’s Dale Hansen ripped into the Dallas Cowboys over the signing of the Defensive End Greg Hardy. In his segment ‘Dale Unplugged,’ Hansen talks about past Cowboy arrests and how they still ended up on the field.
Last season, running back Joseph Randle was arrested twice in four months for Shoplifting and unlawful possession of marijuana. Defensive tackle Josh Brent’s 2012 conviction of intoxication manslaughter involving the death of teammate and best friend Jerry Brown didn’t stop him from returning to the team. Under Jerry Jones’ ownership, several Cowboys players have been arrested and charge for various crimes but some of those players received a second chance.
Hardy was convicted last summer for assault on a female and communicating threats in a case involving a former girlfriend. His overturned domestic charges only went away because the accuser couldn’t be found. Due to the NFL’s much talked about issues with domestic violence in the past year people including Hansen are very upset about this signing.
Should the Cowboys have signed Hardy?
