Are Nicki Minaj’s Air Jordans Really ‘About To Sh*t On Every Male Rapper Who’s Ever [Had A Sneaker]’?
Nicki Minaj exclusively debuted her latest fashion venture on Instagram which are a pair of limited edition Air Jordans, in collaboration with the famed sneaker brand. The rumored fiancée of Meek Mill excitedly wrote in her caption that her Pinkprint sneakers were “about to sh*t on every male rapper who’s ever stepped FOOT in the sneaker game!!!” and that it was “just a TASTE of the secret that’s about to revealed!!!!”

Minaj is looking to have a lot of secret projects going on lately! So far, we’ve got the heart-shaped diamond ring gifted to her from Meek, a reported surprise that’s set to be exclusive to Jay Z‘s TIDAL streaming app and now a possible, upcoming line with the Jordan brand! The rapper even happily announced that “Yeezy ain’t seein these” as her kicks will be placed amongst hip-hop moguls before her with sneaker collabs.
Reebok has produced lines for Jay Z, 50 Cent and Swizz Beatz. Her Young Money mentor Lil Wayne was backed by Supra. Drake had his own OVO line through Air Jordans. And of course the Air Yeezys that were first made by Nike and now via Adidas.
From that list alone, you can see that Minaj is the only female rapper to have her own sneaker line. ELLE magazine has called the pink, purple and gold design a “Lisa Frank lover’s dream.”
