Rihanna may be making fans wait on her latest album, but the singer has a great excuse — she’s busy making history as the first black woman to be featured in a campaign with luxury brand Dior.

The 27-year-old was previously linked to a campaign with Chanel, but Dior confirmed the Bajan beauty has signed on to appear in the brand’s popular video series for “Secret Garden.”

The video will be filmed by Steven Klein at the Château de Versailles in France.

Known for picking celebs with striking personalities, Rihanna joins the likes of brand ambassadors Jennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron, Mila Kunis, and Isabelle Adjani. Each star has focused on a perfume or an item from the company’s elegant collection.

This is far from RiRi’s first brush with the fashion world — she’s also been given countless awards from the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) and appeared in a seemingly infinite number of fashion magazines.

She is also lending her voice to the upcoming animated film Home, which will hit theaters March 27.
