In an interview with NPR last week, he refused to comment on when the “Weekend Edition” host asked him about the allegations by shaking his head no.

He did, however, decide to respond to the questions in a November 6 interview with the Associated Press. Cosby was there with his wife, Camille, to talk about his collection of African American art that he was loaning to the Smithsonian for an exhibit (just as he was in the NPR interview). He was asked about the claims, and Cosby replied, “There is no response.”

He then asks the interviewer to leave that part out of the video and printed interview, saying:

“I think if you want to consider yourself to be serious that it will not appear anywhere.”

“If you will just tell your bosses the reason why we didn’t say that up front was because we thought that AP had the integrity to not ask.”

It recently came out the Janice Dickinson accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her, as well as actresses Barbara Bowman and Joan Tarshis. Since then, Cosby has lost his upcoming sitcom deal with NBC and Netflix won’t be airing his comedy special.
