Pitbull spilled the beans in a recent interview he originally wanted Riri for the hook on his recent single “Timber” Feat Ke$ha, but that at that time Rihanna was wrapped up in a project with Shakira.
We know now what that project was. Both Shakira and Rihanna just confirmed the collaboration will be a song called “Can’t Remember To Forget” and announced a drop date on Twitter.

The song will be featured on Shakira’s next album, the follow-up to 2010’s Sale el Sol. We’ll have to wait a bit longer for that, but at least she’s holding us over with nuggets like this.
