On Saturday, October 27 HelloBeautiful and MadameNoire participated as media sponsors for “Tresses and Dresses,” an event made to uplift and empower the natural black bride. The event, created by Black Bride Magazine and TresseNoire was was held at the Little Star Showroom in New York City, and featured talk backs and vendors aimed at celebrating beauties who are preparing for all aspects of their upcoming nuptials. “Tresses and Dresses” also included a talkback and demo with Felicia Leatherwood, hairstylist to Issa Rae, Ava DuVernay and Nicole Ari Parker. A fashion show featuring bridal looks by Amsale and Pantora Bridal, put an amazing cap to a wonderful day!
