Celebrities Visit SiriusXM - July 14, 2016

There’s another reason Darryl Strawberry‘s storied career will forever be unmatched.

Thursday night’s ESPN‘s 30 for 30 was about the talented duo of Darryl and Doc Gooden who were at the helm of the New York Mets in the ’80s. To support the documentary, Darryl hit up SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio show. During the interview he admitted to smoking cigarettes, drinking, and having sex during games.

When I was on the road, probably. It’s a great possibility. In the middle of a game. Let’s just leave it at that. Been there, done that. Between innings. It worked out well just how crazy it was. It kind of worked out that way. You point (a woman) out and tell the kid (to go get her),” Darryl told the host, Evan Cohen.

As we all know, Darryl could easily get away with such antics because he won a World Series and made it to the All-Star game seven years in a row.

And as Future would say, “You do what you want when you’re poppin’.” Listen to the Mad Dog episode below.
