Celebrities React To Dallas Police Deaths

Almost two hours after being placed on lock down due to a threat being ‘taken seriously,’ reports of a masked man in a parking garage near the Dallas Police Department Headquarters provoked SWAT to swarm the area with their weapons drawn.

This, after issuing a security lock down just a little after 4 p.m. the DPD, they released the following statement explaining the current climate: “The Dallas Police Department received an anonymous threat against law enforcement across the city and has taken precautionary measures to heightened security.”

Some time around 5:45 p.m., several SWAT team members were seen running into a parking garage near Dallas police headquarters with guns drawn. There is believed the be a man in the structure that has caused concern since the garage is a restricted area. However, SWAT was already on the seen after learning of a threat from an armed group from Houston, WFFA-TV ABC 8 reports.

The news channel says several army tanks can be seen around the perimeter of the DPD Headquarters. Currently, officers are looking to ensure that all DPD officers are safe around the city.

Dallas SWAT found no suspect in initial manual search. K9 unit conducting secondary search of garage after detective reports seeing a suspicious man dressed in black in an restricted area.
