President Obama Announces Supreme Court Nominee, Merrick Garland

At a press conference Wednesday morning, President Obama named his Supreme Court Nominee. Judge Merrick Garland, who stood in the Rose Garden before the press alongside POTUS and Vice President Joe Biden, when the official announcement was made.

In the recent months, there has been a lot of talk about who the president will select as the nominee since the passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, who passed away in February.
