Chicago rapper King L was reportedly shot in his hometown on Wednesday (December 23rd). According to reports King L, better known as King Louie was shot in the head on 83rd and Pulaski on Chicago’s south side. According to his manager the rapper is walking around and responsive.
King Louie was one of the first rappers to break during resurgence of Chicago’s music scene and pioneers of “Drill Music.” Louie earned a Grammy nomination for his work on Kanye West’ “Yeezus” album and his latest mixtape “Drilluminati 3: God Of Drill” was released in May 2015.
