Fans will now have to wait til 2016 to hear Kevin Gates’ upcoming album “Islah.”

It looks like there’s been a little set back in Kevin Gates’ upcoming album Islah. Originally set to arrive December 11, the Louisiana rapper took to twitter Thursday night to announce that the album will now be dropping January 29thinstead.Available now for pre-ordersIslah will contain 15 tracks in total and feature the previously heard singles “Really Really,” “La Familia,” and “2 Phones,” which came out this evening to help ease the pain of this unfortunate setback. If you’re unaware, the title “Islah” is named after Kevin’s daughter too by the way, which means the upcoming project will most likely to be his most personal body of work to date.

In support of Islah, Kevin will be hitting the road this Fall for the similarly-titled tour. Peep tour dates for that here, and check out the new announcement below. (Included below is our recent interview with Gates where he talks further on Islah, among other things.)
