Mystikal’s been back on the scene for a minute now since he dropped his James Brown inspired “Hit Me” and the dancy toe-tapper with Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson “Feel Right,” but his new one is more like the Mystikal we used to know.

His new banger “Robert Deniro” has him going for the dinero with a gritty, street feel that’s got me saying “there he is! That’s the dude I remember!” The track is obviously an ode to the famous actor that is Robert Deniro, the star of many of my favorite classics like “Goodfellas,” “The Godfather” and even the movies that are the total opposite of those like “Meet The Fockers” and “New Year’s Eve.”

Check out the street heat below from his upcoming album Strength in Numbers and look for him to perform that song when he hits the stage at the “Kickoff To The Classic…Joe Torry’s Birthday Bash” September 24th at Gas Monkey Live along with Dorrough Music, Mike Jones, Scarface and more!
