Bridesmaids star Maya Rudolph recently joined her ex-SNL-costar Seth Meyers on Late Night this past Monday, June 22. Meyers didn’t waste much time before bringing up Rudolph’s vague resemblance to the “transracial” Rachel Dolezal – and hilarity ensued. Rudolph’s impersonation of Dolezal responding to several interview questions was completely spot-on, to say the very least. She even threw on a “Rachel Dolezal wig” to complete the look, which she told Meyers she always keeps in her purse.

We’ve always had a hunch that Love & Hip-Hops Mimi Faust could not be trusted. Spoiler alert: The Atlanta reality star has finally admitted what all of us already knew… Her “leaked” sex tape with ex-boyfriend Nikko London was straight up staged from the get-go.

For a while, Faust stuck to her story that Vivid Entertainment, the same company that released Kimmy K‘s infamous tape, got their hands on the footage and reached out to her and London to make a deal. Turns out, nothing about this tape was unplanned.

Faust told Us Magazine:

“Every time I would go to Nikko’s place, there would be a camera and a tripod in front of the bed at all times.”

Oy vey. In other news…

Independence Day 2 has officially claimed its name to fame – Fox chose Independence Day Resurgence as the title for Roland Emmerich‘s sequel to the 1996 original hit. The sequel is said to hit theaters on June 24, 2016, nearly twenty years after the first film’s debut. Fox also released the first photos from the set — one of the Moon Tug spacecraft, and another of director Emmerich posing with it.

Tami Roman said it over and over again, “no more kids.” Oops?

The 45-year-old TV star announced on the LAHH: ATL after show last night that she is, in fact, six weeks pregnant with her 28-year-old boyfriend Reggie Youngbloods baby. Roman has two daughters already, who are 19 and 20-something, and has said in the past that she has no plans of starting over… guess it’s officially time for a new plan.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios announced on Tuesday, June 23, that Tom Holland will be the next Spider-Man, following in Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield‘s footsteps. Producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal had long been searching for the perfect personality to play the part, and finally found a match in the 19-year-old British actor.

Pascal said:

“Sony, Marvel, Kevin and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world. With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

The next Spider-Man is scheduled to see theaters on July 28, 2017.
