The family of a man who police say was hit and killed by Suge Knight is now suing the former rap mogul for wrongful death.

The incident earlier this year also left another man seriously injured.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, names Knight as a defendant but also includes Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and the burger restaurant where the altercation took place.

The family of Terry Carter, who died after being run over by a vehicle allegedly driven by Knight, is suing for unspecified damages. The lawsuit claims Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, both producers of the upcoming film “Straight Outta Compton”, knowingly hired gang members to work security for production shoots. It was the gang members, the lawsuit says, that threatened Suge and had him fearing for his life causing him to speed through the parking lot and run over Carter.

The lawsuit accuses the restaurant of not providing adequate security in an area known for criminal activity.
