Chipotle hired Frank Ocean to record a song the company was going to use in a commercial, but I guess he already had a full plate because he never delivered the goods. Now they’re going after him for the money they gave him as an advancement, filing a lawsuit in an LA courtroom Friday to try and recoup more than $212,000.
The song they wanted Frank to cover was from the 1971 movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory called Pure Imagination. I guess it was just that in Frank’s mind because he backed out of the project and the song was eventually recorded by Fiona Apple.
