According to the statement , the fellowship will aid exceptional Hip Hop artist also interested in learning.
The statement reads, “The Fellowship will Provide selected scholars and artist with an opportunity to show that education is real power, as it builds upon the achievements of those who demonstrate exceptional capacity for productive scholarship ans exceptional creative ability in the arts, in connection with Hip Hop.”
The Hip-Hop Archive was established at Harvard in 2002. It supports growing research in hip-hop.
