You may have seen tutorials on Youtube by this Orlando teen Talia Castellano who, for six years, has been battling an aggressive form of cancer called neuroblastoma. Talia’s makeup videos, bright personality and lack of fear of the unknown captured and inspired millions of people including talk show host Ellen who surprised her while appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show’’ where she was given the announcement that she was being made an honorary CoverGirl for the cosmetics company.

Sadly yesterday, Talia lost her battle with the disease.

Tributes poured in on social media after her family announced on her official Facebook page, Angels for Talia, that she had “earned her wings” at 11:22 a.m.

The Today Show ran a touching piece on the life and death of the girl who, as her sister Mattia put it, “loved every single one of her fans, and she always wanted to give back.’’

Talia would have turned 14 years old next month.
