With the recent shootings as of late, a lot of people think it is necessary that school teacher’s be armed to protect themselves and their children
Well, up to 1,000 teachers are getting the chance to attend a basic handgun training class set for April 6 at the Kennedale High School performing arts center.
A former navy seal sniper has agreed to help Police Chief Bill Waybourn with the class and Waybourn says, “This is about education, not pushing policy,” Waybourn said. “We are not pushing any policy.”
