Trapper turned rapper Young Jeezy is about to add label executive to his resume. According to a recent Tweet the “Supafreak” rapper will be taking a desk job as Senior VP of A&R at Atlantic Records.

“From the streets to the Boardroom. SVP of A&R at Atlantic Records I am,” he wrote. “Let’s Get it!”

If this is the case, he will join a long list of artists becoming label executives like the late Heavy D, Andre Harrell, No ID and Jay-Z.  Jeeyz’s latest album TM103 was released on Def Jam Records in 2011.
