This week Jazze speaks with the Samantha Granberry with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation regarding their new Magic Johnson facility they are opening in August. The facility will be located at 400 N. Beach St. in Ft. Worth. They are also sponsoring our Hip Hop For HIV concert happening Sunday August 12th. We also discuss the importance of knowing your status and where you can receive “free” testing and treatment if you have the disease.

Jazze also had the opportunity to speak with Kim Linear regarding the Dallas Cancer Disparities Community Collation about a free program they provide to lower income women allowing them to receive free mammograms.  This service will allows women to be aware of their bodies and to be able to detect if someone has breast cancer early. This way they will have better chances of fighting and beating the disease.
