An 11-year old is receiving praise from police for turning in two drug users after learning about the dangers of drugs during the schools D.A.R.E program-the users, were his parents.
According to WBTV News, the 11-year old was so effected by the D.A.R.E lessons talk about marijuana that he turned in his parents for using the illegal drug.
To help aid in the arrest, the young boy brought rolled up joints to officers and told them that they belonged to his parents; police then arrested the mom and dad and booked them on charges of possession.
The 11-year old and his sibling have been sent to a relative’s house, where they are being monitored by the local Social Services office.
