The Kansas Department of Health issued a report that has once again placed a spotlight on the high mortality rate for Black babies.
Police claim Lewis and a friend left their five children at home while they went out to a local nightclub. The friend's 8-year-old son, who was babysitting, allegedly beat Kelci when she started crying, then placed her back in the crib.
