A 15 year-old boy was shot and killed after being tied up late Sunday at an apartment in west Oak Cliff, police said.

Shortly before midnight, Francisco Javier Garcia was with three people he knew at the complex in the 5300 block of Handicap Circle, near Walton Walker Boulevard.

Two of them pulled out a handgun and a shotgun and tied up the victim and possibly one other person, police said.

Garcia managed to free himself and jumped through a window but was followed by the person with a shotgun. He was shot several times and died in a neighboring apartment, police said.

Investigators were still interviewing witnesses, and no arrests were reported.

The motive for the attack remained unclear.
