Former Cowboy’s star Jay Novacek’s wife was found dead inside the bedroom of a Burleson home Monday morning.
According to the Burleson Police Department, LeAnne Novacheck’s body was discovered at about 9 a.m. at her mother’s home in the 7700 block of FM 1902.
She reportedly died from a gunshot wound to the head and police are treating the case as a suicide, they said.
No further details were available.
Jay Novacek left the Cowboys in 1995 to continue in his NFL career.
