The estate of deceased singer Michael Jackson is now being sued thanks to a videotape that was shown on the television show “Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies.”
In the video, Jackson sings and dances along to R. Kelly’s “Ignition” while sitting in a car with movie director Brett Ratner while in Miami on vacation.
According to TMZ, the estate of Michael Jackson is being sued as a result of the video because Jackson did not pay to sing “Ignition” which is copyrighted by Universal Music Group.
Universal Music Group is now seeking $3,000 for Jackson’s used of R. Kelly’s “Ignition.” R. Kelly has not commented on Universal Music Group’s lawsuit.
