MURPHY, Texas – One person was found dead inside a house that caught fire Sunday morning in Murphy. The fire was discovered just before 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Seleta Drive. When crews arrived they found the house fully involved.
Firefighters from Murphy, Plano, Wylie and Sachse worked for nearly an hour to put out the flames. Once inside they discovered a body.
Investigators have not released the name of the person found dead. They say the death was not likely caused by the fire.
The incident is under investigation.
