On Wednesday, Kevin Gates was found guilty of battery after a 2015 incident during which he kicked a female fan. The judge subsequently sentenced him to 180 days in Florida’s Polk County Jail.
But the rapper’s wife Dreka wasn’t here for the judge’s sentence or the accuser’s story. She took to Instagram to vent about her husband’s recent arrest and question the victim’s story with a video of the situation at hand, saying, “You mean to tell me that @iamkevingates kicked the girl in the red jumpsuit and knocked the breath out her? Because that’s what she’s been claiming and testified today in court. If anything her friend choked the fuck out of her. She claims she fainted, but yet she and her friend stayed at the club at the front of the stage even after this incident. She also acquired a civil attorney early on…what does that tell you?”

She ended the frustrated post, “By the way, thanks for taking my husband away from our kids (sarcasm) #itsnotoverjustyet“
Kevin Gates was also sentenced to one year probation.
