Fetty Wap stormed onto the scene last year with his smash hit “Trap Queen” and hasn’t looked back since. Now both he and his producer Tony Fadd are being sued by a Danish songwriter named Lazar Lakic who claims they took the beat without his permission. According to TMZ, Lakic claims to have purchased exclusive rights to a beat called “Hello” from Tony Fadd, who then sampled that same beat in “Trap Queen.” Fadd apparently tried to buy the “Hello” beat back from Lakic in January 2015, but Lakic declined to give up the exclusive rights. Fetty’s attorney, Navarro Gray, told TMZ that “Fetty legally bought the beat from Fadd and has the contract to prove it”. If a judge awards Lakic damages, Fetty Wap may end up suing Tony Fadd to pay for it. Since Lazar Lakic didn’t receive any money from the over 4 million sales of “Trap Queen”, he wants his paper!
