Are we seeing Yeezus mature before our very eyes? A more humble Kanye has emerged in the aftermath of the Old Kanye taking over the topic of discussion yet again recently.
By now you’ve heard Ye go in on Wiz and Amber Rose after Wiz publicly expressed his disappointment of his decision to change his new album name from “Swish” to “Waves.” Kanye went on a Twitter rant about Wiz, his music, his ex Amber and their child together.
He has since apologized to Wiz and deleted the tweets.
He also mentioned in his Twitter rant that nobody owns the Wavy signature, but has since acknowledged Max B for being the ‘Wavy One.’
Kanye is known for blowing up on paparazzi, but in the first run-in with photographers after the Twitter rant, yeah he does flex a bit at first, but immediately ‘waves’ of tranquility took over and he apologized for coming at the guy heavy.
And finally, he tweeted yesterday that perhaps “Waves” isn’t the best album of all time, but merely ‘one of the best,’ feeling compelled to dial it back a bit out of respect for Marvin Gaye, Q-Tip, Lauryn Hill, Jimi Hendrix, and more.
