Omarion and Apryl Jones became one of reality TV’s favorite couples when they joined the cast of Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood. But the adorable duo may be cutting their time on the hit series short. In an interview with Essence Live, Apryl revealed she and Omarion won’t be returning for season three.
“We’ve never been worried about the ‘show curse’ because when we walked into Love & Hip Hop we were prepared for what they were going to put us in and they had a lot of respect for Omari and I. We knew we would be okay walking in and walking out,” she said.
Season 2 of Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood just wrapped and Omarion and Apryl skipped the reunion show. Maybe with baby number two on the way, the pair could get a spin-off show.
According to reports, Scott got a call from creator Lee Daniels in late August asking her to read for his new show. The spin-off is a prequel to Empire, showcasing a young Cookie Lyon. Amiyah added fuel to the rumor mill by simply tweeting, “next chapter.” Congrats!
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay dominated the box office again, taking first place for the third weekend in a row. The film brought in an estimated $18.6 million domestically, along with another $32.4 million internationally. The holiday thriller Krampus also opened this weekend, making $16 million. The film’s budget was only $15 million, which means it’s already become a low-budget success. And Creed is still a knock-out, taking the third spot this week and pulling in over $15 million.
