Jared Fogle got his answer today on how long he’ll have to spend in prison for child porn and child prostitution. A judge has sentenced him to 15.6 years, more than the plea deal he struck with prosecutors to give him no more than 12 1/2 years. Since judge Tanya Walton wasn’t bound by that deal, she felt that wasn’t enough and added a few more years to his extended stay. It’s federal prison, and the standard time he’ll have to serve is 85%, so realistically he won’t see life beyond the wall for over 13 years when he’s 51 years old. Of course he and his legal team aren’t happy with the judgement. His lawyers have already filed legal docs to get it down to 5 years because the molestation victims were close to legal age.
