Lewisville Animal Services is now searching for five children seen playing with a bat this past weekend that was later determined was rabid. This happened Saturday morning at Lake Park baseball complex and the children left before Animal Services arrived.
Although it is likely the children were poking the bat with a stick, “If there was direct exposure it is very urgent,” said Ethel Strother with Lewisville Animal Control Services.
