A “Cupcake ATM” is opening Friday next door to the Sprinkles Cupcakes in Preston Center, giving customers a 24-hour-a-day frosting fix. To celebrate the machine’s arrival, Sprinkles is hiding 19 golden tickets in Friday’s cupcake boxes, each one good for a dozen cupcakes. Beginning July 20 and until the spin-off Sprinkles Ice Cream opens next door in mid-August, one cupcake ATM customer each day will find a golden ticket good for a $50 Sprinkles Ice Cream gift card.
