Yesterday, Paramount Pictures hosted an intimate NYC reception and screening of Star Trek Into Darkness followed by a Q&A with actress Zoe Saldana. Moderated by ARISE TV’s Lola Ogunnaike, the Q&A featured a relaxed and gracious Zoe who dished on everything from consulting with Nichelle Nichols – the original “Uhura” – before taking on the role (“She just told me to do my thing”) to the meaning of success. “I don’t want to be celebrated. I want to be respected,” she maintained. “When that happens, I feel humbled.”
