Check out J-Davis Bio:

I started singing when I was 17 years old, I would describe my music as a new school R&B, I’m not your traditional R&B artist I try to put my own swag to it. The first song I ever wrote is called “All of me” and I made that probably about 4 years ago. It was a while before I recorded my first song in a studio. I was born December 23 here in Dallas, raised in Dallas and still reside here working on my music. Ultimately I want to win a Grammy and an Oscar award (yeah I shoot high), I love singing but I also have a passion for acting. I believe in self expansion and I try to surround myself with positive people that I can expand and build on who I am as a person. I am working on my first album but haven’t really come up with a name for it yet but you can believe it will be HOT. I love to write music but I mainly write for myself. To me it makes it more real when the words flow onto the paper and then you hear it on the track you can really connect with it. To me R&B today is slightly different from my preference. I like intimate, real songs that you can relate to not just a hot beat and no feeling that’s not music, that’s just a HOT BEAT. Seems to me like a lot of R&B singers today don’t show any range in their music, they stay in one zone and never get out the box to show their real potential. It’s like they all sound the same, no one is unique or stands out. It like they are recycling styles. I plan to change that and make my mark and be different. Currently signed to Planet IX Entertainment.
